Here are the top evening headlines for Saturday August 11th.

A 75-year-old triathlete from Green Country has died in a triathlon in Ohio.

Officials in Cleveland say 75-year-old "Jim Hix" of Claremore was spotted in the water by the Coast Guard.

Crews were able to pull him out and tried C-P-R, but it was too late.

They say Hix died while competing in the swimming portion of the Olympic distance race.

Hix won the Duathlon National Championship in the men's 75-79 age group in 2017.

He also represented the United States at various international events.

 

Tonight we've learned new details into the deadly Ponca City plane crash just one week ago.

A witness has come forward saying they spotted the small plane slowly climbing before it went down in a soybean field.

Kansas Volunteer Firefighter Nicholas Warner, his two sons, and his father died in the crash.

The pilot, Tim Valentine also died.

Authorities say the five were in Ponca City for a monthly breakfast hosted by the airport there.

 

A teen is hit by a car while playing in the street in North Tulsa.

Right now their injuries are believed to be minor.

This happened near 46th and North Peoria.

The driver says they didn't see the 13-year-old male in the street.

Police say the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
