TULSA – One person is reportedly dead after a shooting by an apartment complex near 61st and Peoria, say Tulsa police.
According to Tulsa police, the shooting was possibly related to an “ongoing disturbance” between two groups at the Savannah Landing apartment complex. Sgt. Walker with TPD says the groups were not identified as gangs, just as two groups “not getting along.”
The fighting allegedly started Tuesday night, says Walker, then escalated on Wednesday when a gun was brought into the mix and someone was shot. Overall two people were confirmed as shot with one confirmed as dead.
The condition of the other person reportedly hit, says Walker, is not known at this time.
Investigators are still gathering more information to determine a possible suspect.
