BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Two people were hospitalized after an explosion at a home in Bartlesville Tuesday morning, say local fire officials.

Firefighters say the explosion happened at a home located on the 2900 block of Rice Creek Road.

According to officials, two workers were painting inside the home when some flammable vapors got ignited by a hot water heater, causing the explosion.
