BACHE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says two women who were found dead in a car last month in Pittsburg County died from gunshot wounds.
OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says authorities are still interviewing people in connection with the deaths of 24-year-old Totinika Doshe Elix and 23-year-old Emily Morgan, who were both from the Oklahoma City area. The pair was found dead Aug. 26 inside a car that was parked underneath a carport at a vacant home in the town of Bache.
Brown tells the McAlester News-Capital that the OSBI is working with the Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office, the District 18 Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force and the Oklahoma City Police Department in the investigation.
So far, no arrests have been announced.
