1 dead after south Tulsa wreck, officials say

TULSA -- Authorities are investigating a crash that left one person dead in south Tulsa on Friday afternoon.

The crash was reported in the 2700 block of East 57th Street, near 61st and Lewis.

Officials said the crash involved a driver striking a tree. Authorities said the driver went off the road and through some yards for about 100 yards before hitting the tree.
