2 arrested in connection to Okmulgee County school bus theft; vehicles later found burned

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Okla. – Two people were arrested in connection to the stolen Twin Hills school buses that were later found burned.

Authorities arrested Joshua Coppedge and Garrett Raynor on complaint of grand larceny, conspiracy and arson.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is currently still ongoing. Two additional suspects, one juvenile, are still being sought.

Investigators says the suspects first took one bus by ramming open the gate around 12:30 and left northbound, then returned at 4:30 a.m. to steal another bus and headed southbound.
