CREEK COUNTY -- An Oklahoma Highway Patrol report released Friday says a 17-year-old Kellyville boy died after a one-vehicle crash last Saturday.

The crash occurred at an unknown time on Aug. 26 on Slick Road near 191st Street South in Creek County. The OHP report says the driver of the vehicle, which was a 2015 Kia Forte, was traveling southbound on Slick Road when he left the roadway and struck a concrete ditch and tree.

The 17-year-old boy, who was not identified, died Sunday at the hospital from injuries in the wreck.

Two other people were inside the vehicle that crashed -- a 19-year-old man from Tulsa, and another 17-year-old boy from Sapulpa. The Sapulpa boy was taken to the hospital and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
