16 year old standing inside a convenience store shot during a shootout

A 16-year-old girl standing inside a local convenience store is shot in the arm during a shootout.

Police said the girl is expected to make a full recovery after being shot in the arm.

Tulsa Police said two groups got into a shootout at the QuikTrip located near N Sheridan and I-244.

Police said a car drove up to the QuikTrip and someone started shooting at a man inside the store.

Police said the man who was being shot at ran through the store, went out another door and started shooting at what he thought was the people in the SUV shooting at him.

Police said say the whole thing was caught on video.

“I’m saying we’re going to find you. your picture is shown. we’ve got video of you holding a gun and firing. we’ve got video of your face, great video of your face, we know who you are, we just haven’t put a name with your face yet, so we’re going to find you,” said Sgt. Steve Stoltz.

One woman saw the whole thing happen right in front of her.

“I was sitting in the car, I was on the phone and I heard a bunch of gunshots fire coming from this way and then I see the black guy run right in front of me and he just started shooting. he hit the windshield so the glass hit me when that happened. I just ducked,” said the woman.

Tulsa Police are expected to share that QT surveillance video that showing at least one of the shooting suspects.

Police said both groups that were shooting at each other drove off.
