TULSA -- A 15-year-old girl is putting her foot down to human trafficking by biking from Mexico to Canada to raise money for victims.
On her 14th birthday last October Lindsey Yoder saw a movie highlighting human trafficking.
She decided to put boots on the ground and walk 300 miles from her hometown in Arthur, Illinois to Nashville, Tennessee.
The final stop was Hope for Justice, an organization that fights human trafficking and helps survivors recover.
She raised $40,000 but she said it wasn't enough to cover the costs for the rescue operations and rehabilitation services for 30 girls.
She's now taking her efforts a step further and biking 1,800 miles from Mexico to Canada with her brother, sister, cousin, and mom, with the goal of raising $195,000.
She stopped in Tulsa this weekend to rest and wait for the rain to pass. She'll bike through Green Country Monday and she continues her journey to Canada.
