TULSA – Oklahoma’s largest pet adoption festival is scheduled to be held this weekend in Jenks.
The 11th annual Woofstock will be held at September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverwalk in Jenks. Over 40 rescue groups were invited to bring adoptable dogs to find new homes.
There will be a pet costume contest at 11 a.m., a best trick contest at noon and the cutest puppy contest at 1 p.m.
Former American Idol contest Jesse Joice, is scheduled to perform live.
Scripps Media along with Angel’s Pet Funeral Home and Crematory and Alliance for Animals have banded together to host the event.
