OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Here's a sweet story that's sure to put a smile on your face during this pandemic.

In Oklahoma City, 10-year-old Londyn Wilson prepared a special anniversary celebration for her parents, Wendy and Michael Wilson.

The couple celebrated 12 years of marriage and wasn't planning on doing anything special; however, their daughter Londyn had a different idea.

She told her parents to get dressed with an outfit she picked and to not step outside their room, until she told them to. When they came out, there was a trail of hearts and stars on the floor leading to their living room.

A fancy and romantic setting was awaiting for them with a table for two with flowers and handmade dinner menus by the fireplace.

Londyn then took down her parents' orders for the night: black-eyed pea soup and pasta that she cooked herself!

The sweet gesture meant a lot for her mom Wendy who says they've always instilled on their daughter the importance of family.

"We really make a big deal out of focusing on what you do have and the time that we have together instead of focusing on the things that we don't have, so I think she really did a good job of that and really made us feel special," says Wendy.

To the end the evening, Londyn made her parents toasted pop tarts covered with Nutella and no-bake cookies for dessert.
