TULSA -- One person was transported to the hospital after a fire broke out in downtown Tulsa Monday evening.

Fire officials say the massive fire started at 1500 West Matthew Brady Street.

One person was taken to the hospital with a burned arm following the fire. Firefighters say they worked to keep the fire from spreading due to the close proximity of homes in the area.

The house is a total loss, say fire officials.
