1 in custody after east Tulsa apartment fire

TULSA -- A man was arrested Friday morning after police said he lit his own apartment on fire. 

The fire happened at the Beaumont Cove apartments at 3147 South 108th East Avenue.

Multiple neighbors heard the man coming out of the apartment, saying he lit in on fire, officials said. Neighbors also said the man had been making threats over the last few days.

Officials said one apartment was a total loss in the fire and one dog died in the fire. No other injuries were reported. 

The man was arrested on first-degree arson counts.
