Tulsa homicide detectives are investigating after officers responded to a 911 call at a midtown convenience store on Wednesday evening.
Officers initially told 2 Works For You on the scene that one victim was transported to a local hospital and later died.
At this point, they have not released what led to the death or a possible cause of death. Cause and manner of death officially will be determined by the state medical examiner.
The owner of the store in the 4700 block of North Braden Ave. said he called 911 after hearing commotion in the parking lot, then a thump. When he went to look, a car drove off and a man was trying to run away, he said.
Homicide detectives later responded.
This is a developing story. We will update with more information once it is confirmed.
