TULSA – A woman is dead after a wreck that ultimately split a vehicle in half.
Tulsa police say the car was southbound on 33rd W. Avenue when the driver lost control, overcorrected and went sideways into a tree north of 81st.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed on impact. There was a passenger who was wearing a seatbelt that survived. Police say the passenger went to a nearby home to find help.
Police went on to say that the passenger was transported to a nearby hospital but that person’s condition is unknown.
