Family and friends continued to mourn the death of music icon Merle Haggard by celebrating his life a month after his death.
A memorial was held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Valley Baptist Church in Northwest Bakersfield.
Valley artists gathered in Oakhurst and paid tribute to Merle Haggard during the 2nd Classic Country and Rock Music Festival and the Golden Chain Theater.
