HOUSTON, Texas - Three people were injured after a school bus flipped over following a crash near Crosby, reports NBC affiliate KPRC in Houston.
The crash reportedly happened around 3:30 p.m. with roughly around 50 students on board. KPRC reports that 11 people were transported to a local hospital, including the bus driver. None of the injuries were reportedly life-threatening, though, says the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The bus serves Crosby Middle and Crosby High schools, according to Crosby ISD superintendent Dr. Keith Moore.
KPRC reports that s Crosby ISD representative said that students were never trapped aboard the bus.
