Lillie and Mark Dixon are making the rounds at St. Johns in Tulsa the day before Thanksgiving.
Lillie is Dixon's 10-year-old Standard Poodle who used to be a show dog. The duo has made nearly 300 hospital visits and making people smile is what they are all about.
" It's just bringing that smile and that joy for the moment and there's really a connection. " Dixon said.
"We work in a high-stress environment and so it's nice to have her come in and relieve us of some of that stress," A nurse told us.
Spending the holidays in the hospital isn't something families hope for but a visit from Dixon and Lillie can make it just a little bit more tolerable.
