“Just Between Friends”,The largest consignment sale for children's and maternity apparel, equipment, and devices is preparing to open it's doors for yet another year at the Expo Square.

A variety of discounted items from car-seats to strollers are thoroughly inspected by volunteers and organizers before hitting the re-sale market and the low prices the sale offers attracts hundreds of people as soon as the doors are opened to the public.

Co-owner of “Just Between Friends”, Paul Tackett, says he had no idea the event would grow to become one of the biggest sales in Tulsa.

“When we first started it was my wife and her friend Shannon and they hand painted signs and I would go put them out. There is no way it's going to get this big and it kept growing. The Lord kept blessing it,” Tackett said.

The safety of each co-signed item is taken very seriously and during the inspection period volunteers follow a strict rubric in order to ensure the legitimacy of the products.

Tackett says although the growth of the sale has been carefully crafted safety remains the number one priority.

We try and maintain a manual that's up-to-date that people can see. You can go online as well and we encourage our co-signers before you bring something all the way here and us have to say I'm sorry that's been recalled, we can't take it, can't even donate it,” Tackett said.

The “Just Between Friends” sale will take place in the Exchange Center from Feb. 27 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Until Saturday Mar. 5 at 5:00 p.m.
