TULSA - The first person in line at the Tulsa Hills AT&T arrived at 8 p.m. to get the exact iPhone 7 model she wanted.

Matt Masters was second in line. He arrived at 8:30 p.m. and got his second choice.

"I'm happy," he said.

It was one in, one out as the doors opened at 8 a.m., and each customer was met with a store associate to walk them through the process of getting the much anticipated device.

“I don’t do Black Friday, I don’t do Christmas sales, this is the one thing a year I do," Masters said.

The store was fully staffed and ready to take on a busy day.

“We have to make sure we have all the new accessories, all the new gadgets that go with the new devices. Make sure we’re well stocked up, we staff extra people. We make sure we’re well prepared, because we’re expecting crowds at each one of those launches," said Director of Sales for Tulsa/Northwest Arkansas AT&AT, who was in town for the launch.

The store was only stocked with a certain amount of phones. If people didn't make it in time, they either had to order one online or wait for a reshipment.
