HENRYETTA, Oklahoma— A railcar parking in a inconvenient spot is sounding an alarm in Henryetta.

A viewer contacted 2 Works For You, worried that first responders won’t be able to access his property because he claims it’s frequently blocked by a parked train— sometimes for hours.

John Brinkley says he’s used to the occasional inconvenience of living just a few hundred feet from the railroad tracks.

But he took a video on his cell phone Friday-- when he says the train stopped and parked in front of his house. He says he didn’t get any answers when he called the number on  a sign at the crossing to complain.

“Your medical care ain't our problem that's what you get when you call that 800 number,” he said.

2 Works For You reached to Burlington Northern Santa Fe, the company that owns the tracks, A spokesperson says there are no active complaints for Henryetta.

The spokesperson says if first responders contact BNSF and request a train be separated, train dispatchers will contact the crew.

Brinkley insists he’s complained several times— a BNSF spokesperson says he’ll be happy to speak with anyone who has concerns.
