Bishop Kelley High School sophomore, Katie Douglas, is anxiously waiting for singer, Michael Bublé, to release his upcoming tour dates in December to claim two free tickets promised by the Grammy Award winning artist.
Douglas won the tickets when sending a tweet to Bublé while on live television promoting his new fragrance, "Invitation."
Douglas admits she does not usually watch the Home Shopping Network, but says when learning Bublé was on she had to select the program.
“I tweeted out saying, 'I've never wanted perfume so bad in my life #Bublé on HSN.' Within a minute it was on TV and I started screaming,” Douglas said.
Douglas, who is a performer herself, partly attributes Bublé for getting her into theater and inspiring her to sing and dance in school plays.
The aspiring actress began following Bublé closely after her grandmother passed away and Douglas says his music helps remind her of her grandmother.
“My granny always loved him when she was alive, so after she passed away I started listening to him a bit more, just so I could feel closer to her. So it just felt like it was a gift from my Granny,” Douglas said.
