Former Tulsa police officer in prison for 1st degree manslaughter conviction

LEXINGTON, OKLA. - A former Tulsa police officer is now behind prison bars for his first-degree manslaughter conviction in October.

Shannon Kepler was sentenced to 15 years and a $10,000 fine.

Kepler was found guilty of manslaughter for shooting and killing his daughter's boyfriend, Jeremy Lake, in August 2014. He claimed it was out of self defense.
