MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. -- Authorities captured an inmate Thursday morning who escaped from a transport van in Okmulgee County Tuesday.

Muskogee County's Sheriff Rob Frazier said they located Skipper Rowland, 35, inside a trailer off Highway 64 in Warner. Deputies received a tip about Rowland in the area.

Sheriff Frazier said with the help of Muskogee Police and a K-9, they arrested Rowland and took him into custody. He was alone and didn't have any weapons on him.

Deputies say the trailer belongs to one of Rowland's friends, but don't believe the owner knew he was hiding.

Rowland will remain under custody in Muskogee County where he faces several burglary charges.

Also, Sheriff Frazier said they located a stolen pickup truck they suspect Rowland stole on Tuesday after he escaped.
