Driver narrowly escapes car dangling from bldg
A driver narrowly dodged a scary situation after they drove off a parking garage leaving their car dangling from the side of the structure in Austin, Texas.
Several people in the area reported seeing a Toyota 4Runner drive off the top level of a parking garage and become entangled in the high tension wires on Friday. KXAN reports that the incident took place the Littlefield Garage around 2:40 p.m.
Witnesses were able to catch the nerve-wracking situation on camera, watch one of the videos below.
“The driver was still in the driver seat when I came outside,” says one witness, Andrew Miller. “It looked pretty dangerous even though it wasn’t swinging.” Miller immediately took out his phone and managed to get video of the driver climbing out of the vehicle moments after it went off the garage. Miller says the whole incident reminded him of a scene from “Jurassic Park.”

Miller went on to tell KXAN that it was also a close call for a Jimmy John’s cyclist who happened to be riding right underneath the car when it became entangled.
