Disabled American Veterans is hosting its first stop of its national 5K in Tulsa Saturday

TULSA - The Disabled American Veterans or DAV is hosting its national 5K with its first stop in Tulsa Saturday morning. 

The DAV 5K is a run, walk, roll and motorcycle ride to thank and honor veterans, and raise awareness of the physical issues they face after combat. 

The 5K starts at 7 a.m. and Guthrie Green and goes until 12 p.m.

The event will also make stops in Cincinnati, Atlanta, Bostson and Newport.
