Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa-based Church on the Move is working with a national real estate agency to market Dry Gulch USA.
The western-style village in Adair is a Christian summer camp and home to popular holiday attraction, The Christmas Train.
In a message on the church's website, Pastor Willie George said, "It is our prayer that it will be purchased by a like-minded organization with a commitment to children and youth."
George says Church on the Move will operate summer camp as usual this summer and will host The Christmas Train this holiday season.
The church plans to evaluate future plans at the end of 2016.
The Christmas Train tradition started in 1996.
Every year since, Church on the Move has opened up the Dry Gulch Christian camp to host thousands of families for the holiday event.
In 2014, nearly 50,000 tickets sold out in just nine hours.
Citing the need for repairs, Church on the Move did not operate The Christmas Train during the 2015 holiday season.
