After 20 years with the Catoosa Police Department, Sgt. Keith Prince signed off one last time.

"Keep the faith, stay steady, and go home at the end of your shift," Prince said to his fellow officers.

Ever since he was a kid, Prince dreamt of being a police officer. Growing up he was bullied, and wanted to show people you can make a difference to others.

"You can change, you can make a difference to other people," Prince said. "And through the 20 years hopefully I've helped some people and made some changes."

His wife Tracy and daughter Kristina, who is the middle child of three girls, gathered with him at Tracy's restaurant Port Coney's to reminisce and look forward to time to come with family.

Prince is looking forward to becoming a full-time babysitter for his granddaughter Allison, and is thinking about selling insurance in the future. Tammy said he wants to continue to help people, "just in a different way."
