23-year-old Brian Nhira began living his dream shortly after attending Oral Roberts University as a member of the campus praise and worship team.
However, only after receiving a phone call asking to audition on the hit NBC show “The Voice” did it seem like he had a chance to make his dream a reality.
Nhira, who graduated from Jenks High School in 2010, earned the opportunity to work with Grammy award winning artist, Pharrell Williams, and will try to compete and win against some of the best singers and musicians in the country.
Although making the show is a difficult feat, Nhria is not the only Tulsa area native who will appear on the show this season.
Kata Hay from Skiatook, OK, Chelsea Gann from Liberty Mounds, OK and Justin Whisnant from Beardon, OK will all sing for the opportunity to be crowned the next Voice champion.
Episodes of “The Voice” will air on Monday's and Tuesday's each week on NBC.
