BIXBY, Okla. – A woman is on the run following a domestic assault that led to a standoff with Bixby police Thursday morning.

Alexia Riggins, 25, is still being sought by authorities for her possible connection to a domestic assault that occurred around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived to a home on the 8700 block of 133 Place South, they found a man with a stab wound in his abdomen. EMSA transported him to a nearby hospital in fair condition.

Police say a woman armed with a knife ran then into the home and refused to leave. Overall, a special operations team, SWAT, Sapulpa police and Sand Springs police were called for assistance.

At the scene, police arrested Robin Evans, 19, who they found in the home but do not think is the stabber, but a friend. Evans was taken in on complaint of two counts of child endangerment and one count of obstruction.

Police said there were two children, ages 5 and 6, inside the home at the time. Police said the injured man is the father of the children, and the woman who stabbed him is the mother.

Bixby police said there have been disturbances at this home before.
