TULSA - 7-year-old Chloe Bales was clearly the smallest competitor at Sunday's Tulsa Dog Training Club Agility trials, but also one of the most talented.
"It’s my first time to do Prim (her dog) in agility," she said.
Her and her mom Stephanie traveled from Harrah, Oklahoma, to gain points toward the national competition.
“Mommy, she was working with Milly (dog) and she decided I could have Milly," she said.
Just celebrating her seventh birthday the day before, Chloe says she got into training to be like her mom.
“She just came to the shows with me ever since she was a baby and she acted interested in training the dogs, and I just let her start doing it," said Stephanie Bales.
She said she's proud of Chloe and all the skills the sport has taught her in such a short amount of time.
“She probably has more confidence than most of the adults out here, probably more than myself," she said.
