WAGONER COUNTY - The Wagoner County Sheriff's Department has identified an apparent murder-suicide inside a business near Coweta.
Investigators say Damon Arthur of Broken Arrow shot and killed Jerry Jones of Noel, Missouri, then turned the gun on himself.
Sheriff Chris Elliott says the estranged wife of one of the men made a 911 call to report the bodies inside Fresh Start Automotive on Thursday afternoon. Coweta police first responded, then determined the business, just off of U.S. Highway 51, was outside of their jurisdiction.
Wagoner Co. deputies obtained a search warrant and entered the property. They said they found Jones and Arthur dead inside.
