TULSA — The Oklahoma Blood Institute is partnering with Bob Moore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Tulsa for a blood drive.
The goal is to get 350 successful donations for OBI. OBI is a local non-profit that provides blood to 90% of the hospitals in the state. One donation can save up to three lives.
All blood donors will be entered to WIN a 2021 Kia Rio when they donate!
Donors will also get:
- Choice of OU or OSU shirt
- Choice of one entry to Science Museum Oklahoma, one entry to Frontier City, or two entries to Safari Joe’s H2O Water Park
- Coupon for a free large one-topping pizza from Papa John’s Pizza
The 2 Cares for the Community blood drive is on August 7, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Bob Moore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Tulsa on Memorial Drive, between 41st and 51st.
When you donate you will receive a mini-physical to check temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and iron level. They'll also run a cholesterol test and for a limited time only, all donors will receive Hemoglobin A1C blood sugar testing, which can help monitor diabetes risk.
Anyone over 16 can donate. A photo ID is required and walk ins are welcome.
