TULSA, Okla. — The 2 Cares for the Community toy drive provides toys to families of children who have gone through severe medical procedures.
It is sponsored by Mathis Home and benefits the Akdar Shriners.
The Akdar Shriners are committed to providing the best care for children in the specialty areas of orthopedics, burn care, spinal cord injury, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. They transport pediatric patients from Tulsa-area hospitals to Shriners Hospitals all over the country.
HOW TO DONATE:
Drop off your new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment at Mathis Home: 6611 South 101st East Ave. There are also toys on hand at Mathis to purchase to donate. They are taking donations until Dec. 8th.
2 News Oklahoma will also be at Mathis Brothers for a special toy drive event on November 17th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
