Great St. Patrick's Day food and drink deals

Celebrate with green milkshakes, bagels, and more
Posted

If St. Patrick's Day is one of your favorite holidays of the year, bring a hearty appetite when you go out to eat or drink this weekend.

Restaurants everywhere are celebrating the luck of the Irish with all sorts of special food and drink, often at discount.

Here are some of the special deals you will find March 16 and 17, 2019. Just realize that not all restaurants may participate in these promotions, so it is good to check ahead.

McDonald's: The Shamrock Shake is back in 2019, through next weekend March 24. Use the Shamrock Shake Finder on the McDonald's app to find a restaurant near you offering it.

Arby's: Participating locations will have the Mint Chocolate Shake through March 24.

Aldi: The discount supermarket is offering green cheese for your St. Patrick's Day part, for just $3. Don't worry, it's not moldy, it's a type of English sage cheese. They say.

Bruegger's Bagels: Green bagels are back this weekend. But you may want to order in advance, because restaurants sell out of them quickly, and what fun is a St. Paddy's day brunch with raisin bagels? Check Bruegger's website for a $2 off discount coupon.

Dairy Queen: Mint Oreo Blizzards, buy one get one free at participating locations through March 17.

Dunkin Donuts: Irish Creme flavored coffee is on the menu this week, and some locations will have mint (green) donuts.

Krispy Kreme: Most locations will offer green glazed donuts this weekend.

Tim Horton's: Clover donuts (green of course) 4-packs for $4.99.

Cracker Barrel: Corned Beer & Cabbage lunch and dinner through March 17.

Chili's: Celebrate with a Jameson Margarita for $5. I didn't know margaritas were Irish, but I'm not complaining.

So enjoy St. Patrick's day and don't waste your money.
