I am beyond excited to be living and working in the beautiful city of Denver, Colorado and for the Scripps National News Team. My family and I moved out here in June 2019 from Jacksonville, Florida, where I lived for about six years. Quite a change!
In Jacksonville, I worked for First Coast News, the ABC/NBC affiliate. I spent most of my time there working on the morning show, Good Morning Jacksonville, as a live reporter and one of the anchors. I covered several hurricanes, including Irma and Matthew, and traveled to the panhandle to cover Hurricane Michael. I also made national news posing with comedian and acting legend Bill Murray. It was his pants that were all the talk, but I was also in the picture. I also helped launch a digital program called #FirstCoastNow, a short newscast delivered through social media.
I got my start in television at KHQA-TV in Quincy, Illinois as a morning anchor, reporter, producer, and weekend weather anchor.
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Illinois State University.
My family and I love spending time outdoors and exploring everything this beautiful state has to offer. On the weekends, you can usually find my husband, daughter, bonus son, and I trying out some new trails.
