Sunday Brunch: Oktoberfest Sausages and Potato Pancakes

Jan Hefner stopped by to share her Oktoberfest recipe for sausages and potato pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. large potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • oil or lard

Cooking instructions

Peel the potatoes and onions and grate immediately. Mix well with salt, eggs and flour. When fat is sizzling in frying pan, spoon the dough into it. About 1 serving spoon per on pancake. Spread it out thinly and cook it golden brown on both sides. Serve directly from the pan onto a preheated plate.
