Every Saturday during February and the first Saturday in March people will plunge into freezing cold water. The money will all go toward benefiting Special Olympics Oklahoma.
The state-wide goal for the 2016 annual Polar Plunge is to raise $300,000 dollars.
Those who plan on participating are creating personal web pages to collect donations from family and friends.
