The Food Allergy Research and Education group (FARE), is starting a new project to aid parents with trick- or -treaters who have food allergies.
The Teal Pumpkin Project is a movement to encourage those passing out to kids on Halloween to paint a pumpkin teal to indicate they have non-food treats to give as well, according to FARE.
According to their website, teal is the official color of food allergy awareness.
