Last year NBC helped nearly 20,000 animals find new homes during a nationwide event, Clear the Shelters, with more than 400 animal shelters participating.
This year, 2 Works for You is joining the Clear the Shelters effort.
We are partnering with the SPCA, Tulsa Humane Society and more than a dozen other shelters to match local families with rescue animals.
Join us in our effort to clear the shelters on Saturday, July 23 with 2 Works for You Today anchor Taniya Wright.

- Woodland Hills Mall, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Dillard’s courtyard
- Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – $75 dogs & $77.50 cats
- Cleveland Pound Pals, 10 a.m. -3 p.m. – Reduced adoption fees
- Oklahoma Alliance for Animals, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – Reduced Adoption Fees
- Oklahoma Orphaned Poodles, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. – No adoption fee for approved applicants
- Rainy Day Rescue, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. – Reduced adoption fees
- Sapulpa Furry Friends, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. – $35 dogs & $25 cats
- Tall Tails Rescue/Wagoner Animal Shelter, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. – Reduced adoption fees
- Okmulgee Humane Society, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. – Reduced adoption fees
- Big Dogs Huge Paws, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – Reduced adoption fees
- Glenpool Animal Shelter, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. – $45 adoption fee

- Broken Arrow Animal Shelter, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – $60 dogs & cats – 4121 E. Omaha Street, Broken Arrow
- Tulsa Animal Welfare, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. – $10 dogs & cats – 3031 N. Erie Ave., Tulsa
- Horizon Animal Heroes, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – $75 dogs & $50 cats – 15606 S. Memorial Drive
