TULSA -- Tulsa Police have arrested one person who they said fired a gun at a security officer near 11th and Garnett QuikTrip.
It happened on Friday just before 8:30 a.m.
TPD says that the suspect stole ice cream, and that's when the security officer followed the person.
Police say that the suspect ran westbound toward the Garnett Inn after firing one shot at the security officer.
Area schools were on modified lockdown for a time. That lockdown has since been lifted.
No injuries have been reported and the suspect has been apprehended.
