SAND SPRINGS, Okla -- A man is dead after police said he was struck by a vehicle Saturday night.
Police identified the man killed as Kevin Lee Meyers, 42. Witnesses told police that Meyers darted in front of a Kia going southbound at 41st and Highway 97.
Police said the driver had no time to react and struck Meyers. He died from his injuries at the scene.
The intersection where the wreck happened is now open after police completed their investigation.
