This is a great example of why it's always important to wear a helmet.
You can see in the video above that the motorcyclist gets back up almost immediately and walks over to check on his 1986 V65 Magna motorcycle.
He says his rear tire hit a bump in the road, causing it to go out of line with the front wheel.
The rear tire didn’t regain traction after the bump, resulting in it sliding back and forth before he loses control and skids down the road.
Thanks to all of his safety gear, he didn’t suffer any major injuries.
His motorcycle is a different story, as the windshield is completely destroyed and the exhaust is severely bent.
