Burbank, CA--The 14th season of "The Voice" with new coach Kelly Clarkson joining Alicia, Adam and Blake will premiere Monday, February 26th from 7:00 – 9:00pm CT followed by the series premiere of "Good Girls", starring Christina Hendricks, Retta, and Mae Whitman, from 9:00 - 10pm CT.
Kelly Clarkson is the new coach on "The Voice" but she is not new to reality competitions. She launched her career as the very first winner of American Idol in 2002. Coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have been with the show from the start--Shelton coaching six of the winners, so far, and Levine as coach of three of the champions. Alicia Keys won her inaugural season as coach last spring.
“The Voice,” which has won three Emmys as Best Reality-Competition Show, is hosted by Carson Daly. The blind auditions begin Feb. 26 for the first six episodes. The following stages of the competition are: the battle rounds, knockouts, playoffs and, the live performance shows.
"Good Girls" is the new NBC sitcom about three suburban moms who get tired of trying to make ends meet. They decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local supermarket at (toy) gunpoint. But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think. From executive producer Jenna Bans (“Scandal”) comes this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little “Thelma & Louise” with a bit of “Breaking Bad.”
The cast includes Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Izzy Stannard and Matthew Lillard.
"The Voice" airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 7pm on 2 Works for You. "Good Girls" follows "The Voice" on Mondays this season.
