Lady Gaga paid tribute to the recently deceased David Bowieat the Grammy awards show Monday.
Just like the song, with a screwed-down hairdo, Gaga really sang her heart out on the stage. Starting off things off with “Space Oddity,” she used technological tactics to transition from Major Tom to Ziggy Stardust.
Then she sped up the beat a little moving on to sing “Changes” and revealing a quick costume transition.
From then on, the performance was really out of this world. Gaga used a keyboard to jam while singing “Suffragette City” and it moved along with her to the beat. Literally, it moved. We’re not kidding, it was swaying back and forth like it had a mind of its own.
Of course she tugged at the heartstrings of many Bowie fans when “Heroes” played and another special effect showed a homage to the singer, his face lightly showing in the background.
