Emma is a Meteorologist/multimedia journalist (MMJ) for KJRH. She joined the team December of 2021.
She grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma where she quickly found her passion for weather. Right out of High School, she attended Rogers State University for two years before transferring to the University of Oklahoma in 2018. There, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Geography with a minor in Broadcast Meteorology.
In 2019, Emma interned with 2 News Oklahoma for the summer where she quickly learned this was her dream station. Emma also worked as a weekend morning meteorologist at KSWO in Lawton, Oklahoma during the summer of 2021. During her time there she gained more confidence, experience and continued to grow.
Emma is also bilingual and hopes to use that to her advantage when communicating to the Hispanic community during severe weather.
A forever Sooner and grateful to call Tulsa home.
