SAND SPRINGS, Okla. - Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire in Sand Springs Friday morning.
Firefighters say both the man and woman who lived in the home made it out safely.
Residents of the mobile home claim their dog was responsible for waking them up. Their cat did not make it.
Sand Springs Fire Department believes a smoldering smoker left on the porch was what caused the mobile home to catch fire.
The American Red Cross was also contacted. Both residents were uninjured.
