Railroad crossings to undergo maintenance; downtown cross sections to be closed off during repairs

TULSA – Starting July 27, two railroad crossings in downtown will be closed off due to maintenance and repairs, says the city.

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroads will be closing off two crossings from July 27 to July 28: Greenwood Avenue between First Street and Archer Street.

According to the city, the crossings will be closed off from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. but a detour will be marked for drivers.

Additionally, railroad track maintenance will be scheduled on Madison Avenue between Second Street and Third Street closing it off from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
