TULSA - The surprises keep rolling in for Kirby Mackenzie.

Last week, Ellen DeGeneres surprised the McAuliffe Elementary librarian with another $25,000 check for the school, and she told Kirby she would be getting a home makeover by HGTV’s cousins Anthony and John from Cousins Undercover and Sherwin-Williams. Kirby and her husband just became foster parents of two of her students.

Today, Kirby gets to see the makeover for the first time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at 4 p.m.

McAuliffe Elementarty is part of Union Public Schools.

In 2014, Ellen learned about Kirby's passion for offering her students access to books in the summer, so she surprised her with a bookmobile and $25,000. Quickly, Kirby was known as "Ellen's favorite librarian" and she made several appearances on the show.
