TULSA – A film festival is scheduled for this weekend to reveal some of the physical elements of the Bob Dylan Archives that were brought to Tulsa earlier this year.

The series, Dylan on Film, will be kicked off with the premiere of the tenth anniversary edition of Martin Scorsese’s “No Direction Home,” at Circle Cinema on September 21. In addition to the screening, the physical elements of the Bob Dylan Archives will be on display. Items such as the artist’s handwritten lyrics to classic songs and one of his leather jackets will be among the items on display.

After opening night, the exhibition will be moved to the Henry Zarrow Center for Art & Education from September 23 to October 10.

On September 22, an outdoor screening of “Festival!” Murray Lerner’s documentary from 1967 will be played at Guthrie Green. Then on Friday, September 23, “Don’t Look Back” will play at Circle Cinema.

Dylan himself is scheduled to perform in Tulsa at the Brady Theater on October 23.
